MISSION STATEMENT

"To provide quality sporting opportunities and facilitate the development of Sport Education for all students in Victorian Secondary Schools."

AIMS
The Association aims to:

Promote and foster good sporting attitudes and practices in secondary schools.

Provide a range of appropriate sporting programs for all students attending Victorian secondary schools.

Provide a process whereby secondary students attending affiliated schools have the opportunity to participate in organised inter-school sports and proceed to higher levels of competition.

Organise the participation of teams in national and international competitions conducted by School Sport Australia and in similar competitions as approved by the Association. Such teams to be selected from eligible students attending affiliated schools.

Provide a forum for discussion and agreement about school sport.

Develop and make recommendations about sports policy to members and the Department of Education, Employment and Training.

Liaise with government sports agencies and organisations, state and national sports organisations.
